Your photos, stories and family tree belong to your family. We do not sell them, use them for advertising or train AI models on them.
Where the money goes
Your payment helps cover secure hosting, storage and backups, sending family emails, payment fees and taxes, and the work of maintaining, supporting and improving beinand.
A year you choose
A paid year ends on its own. It never renews automatically. Any full member who can validly make the purchase may pay for their family space; nobody pays just to join it.
Limits only ever go up.
We will not reduce the published allowances within a plan. A trial ending, a move to a smaller plan or the end of paid or complimentary coverage can change which allowance applies. Permanent bonus storage remains. Existing content is not deleted because it exceeds the applicable allowance.
Keeping your family's memories
Kept for good — as long as someone in your family stops by at least once a year.
By "stops by", we mean signing in. A paid or gifted year also keeps the family space active. The terms and privacy policy explain cold storage, notices and what happens after a longer period without activity.
If beinand ever closes
We commit to at least 12 months' notice before beinand closes, and to providing a full export with an offline viewer. Each family will be able to name a successor to look after its archive. We will place written continuity instructions with a trusted person. These commitments apply to free and paid family spaces alike.
